The Choices of the King
Following the cliff-hanger ending of The Abbess of Norburyness, we thought it was unfair to make you wait too long see the aftermaths. The Choices of the King, exploring one set of ramifications to the events of Abbess is being posted today and ‘The Loyalties of the Courtesan’, which explores another branch, will be posted a week from today.
Please note that though this is the suggested reading order, each of Choices and Loyalties complements the other and explores different facets of the situation. Accordingly, some people may prefer to delay reading until they have both works to hand and may even wish to read them in reverse order. If you wish to know more about which order to read in, please contact us.

The Abbess of Norburyness
To celebrate the new website update we have released the 'The Abbess of Norburyness', the eighth in the Queen of Gondal series of ebooks. The earlier part of The Abbess of Norburyness takes place over the years preceding the events of The Crown Princess of Gaaldine; the final part occurs approximately six months after the events of The Curious Incident of the Knight in the Library.
It's, like, Rupert of Hentzau meets the Reichenbach Fall!

Updated website
We hope you like our new updated website combining a slightly 1970's retro vibe with better support for mobile phones and tablet devices. We've added some new features including quick download buttons for ebooks and a much improved fandom filter and search. Some things have moved around, the Lopiverse and Queen of Gondal series information can now be found under 'About' and the old 'Help' is now called 'Support'.
Plus you can now follow A.J. Hall on Twitter via the link at the bottom of the page and ensure you don't miss out on the new Queen of Gondal ebooks coming very soon. Enjoy and let us know what you think.

The Master's Mate's Stratagem
We are pleased to announce the publication of The Master's Mate's Stratagem which is the seventh in the series of Queen of Gondal ebooks, a quasi-historical AU of the BBC Sherlock series set (more or less) in three fantasy kingdoms devised by the Bronte children. It is also a cross-over with the BBC's radio comedy series Cabin Pressure, give or take a few hundred years of changing technology. Dedicated to kalypso on her birthday.
